hey guys for a couple years now iv been a loyal DSM fan driving my
built 2g around.. but as of lately iv been starting to head down the Evo path.

but today was my first time that i acutally got to drive and evo

my friend that i know from high school came over and let me drive his evo lX mr around the block... i cant belive the how big the gap in performance between the to platforms are, the Evo's amazing..

with my Gst im always fight traction but with the evo it was amazing how in control i was

i just knew at that moment that this was going to be my next car.

has any one else had the same experiance...

I break loose in my Z in the rain even with TC on... never had a problem with my wrx cept i chirped into 2nd other than that grabs... man I miss AWD...

 

compairing FWD to AWD isnt a fair fight - you should be looking at stock levels of power/suspention and compair those.

 

When i first test drove an evo 9 i was a little dispointed they seem pretty underpowerd from the factory but after modding it i love mine!

 

Ya the IX is so much better stage 1 with basic bolt ons and a tune. Its a different animal.

The IX are so damn detuned from the factory. U can tell by the clouds of black smoke from the exhaust.

 

My first time driving an evo was at my work at Mercedes Benz. It was and Evo 8 that was traded in. After driving it around the block I knew I had to get me an Evo!

 

First time I drove one was back in the end of April. As I was driving it out of the parking lot the sales man said keep it under 4k. I was like yeah right thats where all the fun begins.

I figured that the car I was test driving would be the one I would be buying anyway. 2 days later I bought that Evo.
