JUST GOT MY FIRST EVO!!!! 56k dunno...
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.. nice purchase, and you got it real cheap..welcome to the Evo world, better than Disneyland
you just scared me there... I bought my Evo, and only non-stock part on it are springs, and as far as I know they are from Tein... I had car for a month, and I heard some noise twice from front left side, sounding like someone just hit my axle with a hummer.. $%$*
If it's lowered with Tien S-techs, be careful. They blew my front struts out after about 15-20K miles.
Great looking Evo.
I really like the WS6 too.
My only suggestion is getting a good tuner local. It will make life much easier to have a guy keep you in tune when you start the mods.
If your knowledge is enough that you can tune your own car. I would suggest getting the tuning software and cable before anything else.
I also came from the v8 world to the Evo. I do miss the low end TQ at times. To remedy that all I need a few sweeping 90 degree turns. Then I think oh yea no pony car will give me that.

welcome bro. love the look. seems like a solid shop too, the one you'll be bringing you car to. have some great fun. Good luck with everything. Almost forgot, open a separate bank account for the Evo believe me when you start modding youll need it. lol !!
Let the fun begin. These cars are the absolute best in the snow. Sooooo much fun. Just be sure you're not rocking the stock advans, you'll be all over the place.
I picked up some BFgoodrich G-force T/A KDWS (Killer Dry/Wet/Snow, all seasons) that work great. They grip when I need them too and allow me to have lots of fun. If you guys get a lot of snow, look into some Blizzaks.
