No one jacked anything, the one and only other owner used to work for me and I saw the car from the day it was purchased through some of the mods until I bought it at about 7kmiles and finished the mods. It is without a doubt an MR b/c its 6spd so it isnt an MR badged SE.

Ditto, this is how they all come.

When you say diamond black can you post a pic of what you are talking about b/c when you say "diamond black" I keep thinking of FQ-400 wheels.....

Both you guys are outside of the US it looks like so when you say "diamond black" wheels that doesnt apply in the states so my car "is the norm". US spec is different then Euro spec.

Knguyen228 are those the wheels that are supposed to be "diamond black" ? Those are the exact same ones that I have on my car and the only time they look anything close to black is when I dont wash them after about a week and a half....
They sure look gunmetal to me

the rims are black diamond finish. I left out the finish part. black diamond finish is a bit different then gunmetal.

Well at least I know that my car is right. it doesnt make sense to call that^ color diamond black. They should stick with gun metal, gunmetallic, graphite, etc... Just using the word "black" to me doesnt make sense.

Does your paper say anything about MR SE or any option on it. My MR does not have those rims, red stitched recaro, or the front lip. I think you probably have the option appearance package. I know many of the dealership usually get the top of the line MR.

There is technically no MR SE .. only the MR with appearance package as mentioned. It's often called the MR SE. This package gives the MR the lip, stitching and wheels. This package does not include an SE badge though with the appearance package the MR has everything the SE has.

06MRV8Killer, you have the MR SE. I have one as well.

The MR SE does not have an upgraded turbo or ECU programming as mentioned earlier. I can personally vouch that my MR SE has the basic 88590015 ECU ROM that most late '06 Evos have.

Here is a comparison of my friends IX MR (red) and my IX MR SE (gray).

The rims on the fq400 are "Gloss Black" Team Dynamics Lightweight Alloy Wheels.

That car pictured doesn't have a 6-speed transmission, Bilstein suspension, vortex generator, etc. that the MR has ...

Obviously the "Diamond Black" name for the color of the BBS wheels is confusing some of you a bit. Yes, it is not black like the FQ wheels, but it is not just called "Black." But what I've noticed is that obviously the front of the wheels is shiny ("Diamond") while the inside of the wheel (behind the front, the side that faces the brakes) is dark ("Black")... put them together and you have Diamond Black.

Yeah, I don't think the SE's have updated turbos or ECU programming, which would have required Mitsu to spend more cash for federalization...
