A few questions, please red/answer!!

Now I understand this is a topic that most people will flame others on but please try and resist the flaming loll. I am also 17, new to evos, and in need of YOUR expertise please.
I am looking for an intake that will provide me an increase in HP/TQ, and also make my car sound like a derranged vacuum. I am no stranger to the search button and google and I have not found any information that answered my questions...
I have read that the injen intake claims 22 hp dyno proven and the hks rs intake claims about 11. I understand that the K&N drop in filter is really good for 400 whp blah blah but please answer my question as to what the best intake IN UR OPINION is if you have any personal experiance with it. They are just about the same price and with the injen I get the intercooler pipes+it claims much more hp.
I also understand I need a tune with this and I will get a tune in about 1-2 months after the intake is installed, will this be safe?
My future mods:
HKS 280 Camshafts (<~have but will install last right before tuning)
Cam Gears (<~Also have, will install prior to tuning)
JUN valvesprings (<~Installed)
ARP head studs (<~Installed)
AEM TRU Boost controller (<~ordered, will be 1st mod)
Walbro 255 fuel pump
680cc or more injectors
Turboback exhaust
Tune
^am I forgetting anything? Is my setup wrong? Please leave your feedback because I am in need of it and try to resist the flaming lol, I honestly try to search ALL DAY and cant find anything that answers my questions.
Thanks!!!

Do URself a favor..... Leave it STOCK...

Learn the car, and take some professional driving courses. That to me(for a 17yrold) is the best bang for the buck..... Spend the extra money that you would spend on modz and go autoX/or road coursing.

No Flaming Here, just giving my opinion.

I do not own an evo but I think that you should tune immediately after the intake or the car will run pretty bad. Also, at your age I would recommend this http://www.skipbarber.com/ before you get too many other mods.

Is the evo 8 turbo way worse than the 9 turbo? I mean instead of paying 500$ for the 9 turbo why not spend a few bills more and get the "green" turbo or is there anything better? Isnt the 8 turbo good enough for my setup tho at maybe 21-22 lbs with all my mods I should be near the 375 whp mark and that is what my ultimate goal is. My main question is towards the intake, which do you guys think is bst?
Thanks for the responses

Theres a ton of nice intakes out there, there was a spreadsheet done by some magazine that shows the differences of them all, I wish I had the link, but anyway, You cant go wrong with a big pipe off the turbo to a filter, I like ExtremeTurboSystem.com 's intake, its a pipe off the turbo, nothing too fancy but one of the better performers for sure. If you install much more than an Intercooler/piping, intake, and exhaust, I wouldnt drive it until it is tuned. Seems like you really did search, and you have the general idea of what to install, so good on you. Your going to get a lot ot BS about being 17 and "why not take driving classes" and what-not. Just for god sakes do not turn up the boost till its tuning time. I would actually turn it down to around 16 PSI until your ready to get it tuned just to be safe with the exh and intake and others..
Good luck

Also, a good wideband should be on your list. I like the LC-1 and XD-16 combo from innovative motorsports. (mabye an oil pressure gauge as well), at least then you can log yourself via ecuflash or logworks(included with lc-1) and verify your tuner is doing something right and safe.
