what are the different models of evos (8, 9, mr, etc) and what is the difference?

2003 VIII
2004 VIII, 2004 VIII RS
2005 VIII, 2005 VIII RS, 2005 VIII MR, 2005 VIII SSL
2006 IX, 2006 IX RS, 2006 MR, 2006 IX SSL, 2006 SE, 2006 MR w/ Appearance Pkg. (SE look)
2007 nothing
2008 X, 2008 X MR

 

The differences? Stop being lazy and look it up yourself. Do a search here and also on the major car magazine web sites. Edmunds, Edmunds Insideline, Motor Trend, Road and Track, Car and Driver and Automobile.

 

Look on wikipedia. They have a list of all evo's and info about them.
