new ozrally owner

What up guys I'm new to the forums and new to the world of lancers and new to world of car tune ups but I've always been a huge dreamer of the Evo IX that I would own some day. Most recently I just got a 03 OZ Rally, mainly for it being so much cheaper as a nice car. After a month of driving it that nice car look didnt let me down performance wise, I am really loving this car and decided gonna stick with it for a while. Thats when all the modifications started on the looks and performance. Now Ive only done minor stuff even though I had the urge of doing the major stuff but then I was told not to at another forums. They said unless I completely change stock parts it will break apart doing the little things one by one. So I put the idea of doing major changes away for now but still wondering about some of the little things to do on performance safely without messing up the car which is why I'm here. so wut u guys think i should be able to do to this car for better performance without worrying about parts breaking and lot of headache? Ive been visiting performance part shops a lot recently and getting ideas from the guys there and some of the suggestions they made was adding turbo kit, strut bar, radiator, coil overs, header etc.

If you want to go turbo I would go that route. Don't mess with any more performance parts and just save for the turbo kit.
I would do things like coilovers and strut bars/swaybars for now, those will work later with the turbo
