who got high mileage and still no problem with your EVO?
Hit 2300 miles last night and all is well *knock on wood*. No clutch drops/slips, proper break in,warm up and cool down, changed oil and transmission fluid at 1500. Not super high mileage but I could be nearing clutch replacment by some people's accounts.

8000 miles and no problems whatsoever; getting faster as the engine loosens up and the clutch is still working well, but waiting for other shoe to drop as of the many posts concerning Mitsu's choice of clutch disc and other components not being quite as strong as they should be, but so far smooth sailin' mon.
2400 miles...My clutch stinks like a ****, I have a 1-2 grind... all of these problems are on every evo... you only get them when you drive like a maniac. Unfortunately I hit redline probably 5 times a day

I think this says it best about problems with Evos... It comes down to how hard you drive your car... I have 2,200 miles on my car and not a problem. I do get on it but i dont kill my car at redline 5 times a day.. Not tryin to hate 5Ssuzuki... just using your reply as an example

and I had it fix for $4.
