I just bought my 2003 Evo and it came with aftermarket cam and cam gears, straight pipe with resonator, aftermarket turbo exhaust manifold, and boost controller and intake. Is there a way that I can tell that the ecu has been flashed? Also, I was having problem with missfiring? I changed out the plugs to iridiums bpr7eix? Do these need to be gap? or not? Also after that it still sputters over 70 mph? so what is the cause?.. Can anybody help...............................

 

Any shop that tunes Evos should be able to 'look' and see if the ecu has been flashed.

 

umm i hope its tuned your car will probely runn like a** missfiring might be plugs change them, some spark plugs need to be gapped some dont

best way to tell if your tuned is look at the boost gauge does it go to 20.3 then taper to 16.5 or does it go to 22 and stay
