Hey guys,

So I'm a little confused about the BBS wheels color situation. I look up the SE and it's diamond black? Is that right? Because everytime I see pictures of the SE it looks like it's just brushed metal.

But when I look at the MR it looks like it's powder coated a grey or something similar?

So the reason I'm questioning it is because I love the grey colored wheels on the Graphite Grey Evo. And I'm looking to pick up an SE rather than an MR. But I really love those dark grey wheels.

Can someone help my confusion?

They are called diamond black. How you see them in pictures and choose to describe them is all in your head. The diamond black finish is infinitely better than the boring grey but that is how my head sees it

Haha, fair enough. But what does the black have to do with the metalic finish?

Anyway, everytime I think I have the different trims figured out, I come up with another question.

I haven't read this anywhere, but from my understanding, don't look at "Diamond Black" as one thing. The face of the wheel is shiny (diamond) as opposed to the anthracite color of the standard MR BBS wheels, and the inside of the wheel is black, which you will notice if you take the wheel off of the hub.
