why do some mufflers not fit with the JDM rear bumpers? whats the fitment issue ?

 

They are to long. You have to cut about 2" depending on what exhaust you have.

 

The JDM rear does not come out as far as the USDM rear bumper. So the issues usually depend on the exhaust design and angles. Most people are able to make this work with some modification. Here is the thread related to this issue.

yes mostlikely if you have a jdm exhaust you wont have issues such as tanabe hks ... but if you have a usdm exhaust be ready to go to the near by muffler shop so they can take care of that for you .
