ive been using rp for a while now, i get mine for $5 qt at my local murrays. After every time ive been using it the car feels alot better and way smoother, so i like rp all my friends use it they like it also, so i guess it's all basically preferences and who tells you what about which oil. if you have anymore questions check out this place http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/ that should give you some answers

 

The problem with BITOG is that there is too much uncontrolled, unnofficial, "Testing" ...

People jump from one oil to another and post " I got this results or that results" even with Oil Analysis, it usually takes several runs of the same fluid to get any base results.

There is No ASTM or SAE testing being done there. That is where you need to draw a base comparison..

Is RP better than Petroleum oils, probably, is it a Great Synthetic, not by Far.

out of curiousity, what are some great synthetics in your mind? for me specifically..... track only car.. lots of heat.. lots of boost... lots of redline & abuse.

currently running 20/50 RP or RL synthetic.
