Newbie here..

Sup guys, been a member for a little while now just always been lurking.. I have a 02' is300 right now, looking to buy an evo before or at the start of summer.. Love the forum, I have been searching for some evo vids of some meets/canyon or mountain runs but can't find anything.. show me some evo vids!

I am located in Knoxville, TN.. hopefully will be able to get a good deal, looking to spend 22-23ish.. what can I expect to get? Judging by the site you just gotta be patient.. some people want 23k for their 03 with 60k miles, but then others want 23k for their 04 ssl with 30k miles lol..

Still have a few months of reading to go though! Wish me luck! I guess the main reason I made this thread was to find some vids of the evo, but took the time to introduce myself as well lol

-Gary

i went from an is300 to an evo, and i love it for the first year, then things starting breaking and then i had to rebuild my motor, you need brake pads every freaking week you have to keep a tool-set in your trunk because something is bound to break, pop,or rip or worse if i were you i would keep the lex and enjoy a reliable car......if u cant afford a new one dont get it,and by the way there are evo videos all over the internet....

I love Is300's why not just build that? I've seen some pretty b@d@$$ on the net before?

i was going boost in a few months, but my is300 has 88k miles on it already and i didn't want to boost such a high mileage car.. i could just buy another is300 and boost it, but i figured what the hell, just buy boosted why build.. i guess built is better then bought though.. i just wanted to run like 8 psi though because my is300 is my DD, i need something reliable so i figured buying a boosted evo would be better, guess im wrong though???

i would, but i am trying to keep my payments around 400ish or lower.. i figured i would get a better response about getting an evo, now im kinda scared to get one lol! i was thinking either evo or wrx, but for some reason i am not a fan of the STi, but from what you guys are telling me the evo might not be as reliable as i would of hoped.. i need something reliable though, it is my DD..
