AEM wideband installed.. question!

I just installed AEM wideband today. and my question is that wideband gauge never turn off at all. i think this is not correct installation. can anyone tell me it should be like that? or should turn off when ur car is parked.

Mine turns off when my EVO is turned off. Are you referring the actual gauge constantly being on? Go back and check if you tapped a switched power source or not, that could be your problem.

hm.. yes, the gauge is still on with "---" rite now. i dont know whats the problem.

when the car is off the guage should turn off, something must not be right with your wiring

Check your power source. Tap into the cigarette lighter or possibly the radio harness.

You probably wired it to a battert source instead of an ignition source.. check your power wire

take a test light and find a power wire that goes on with the car and shuts off with the car. that will solve your problem.

Mine is wired into the cigarette lighter power wire and works fine.
