Question New Lancer owner w/some ?'s

I'm currently doing various mods to my new lancer, its a 03' automatic, with an intake, new exhaust, and a few new internals like spark plugs and wires, im wondering since RoadRace has a new turbo that fits automatic lancers, is it dangerous to install it with the intercooler and no other mods? What can i expect my horsepower to increast to be? I'm a newbie what can i say...im just now learning all these things...with the few mods ive made so far i have noticed a considerable difference in throttle response, power, speed increases. Is it even worth it to make the purchase?

these guys can correct me if im wrong but the stock internals such as pistons etc, will only handle so much. I think , please correct me if im wrong if you go forged pistons your car wil be able to handle much more boost ??? guys what ya think ?

forged pistons, shotpeened rods, and better fuel management

then you can crank up the boost, but the fuel management is showing to be very elusive

You should be safe running boost around 6 psi. Anything above that, and you should really look into getting forged pistons and better rods also.

there is no easy way to run intercooler piping in auto but that does not limit you to 6# on stock internals i personally run mine at 7# all-day everyday and still smoke the tires in 2nd

The auto tranny is unable to effectively hold the torque of a boosted engine. Most people refer to Level 10 as far as auto build ups are concerned.
