Hello.. Name is Jonathan.. I have been looking around for the past week now.. And decide I would like an evo viii.. This will be my first car.. I will be driving it daily, now this is my question.. Should I buy the evo or should I get another car first? ( I have driver other cars for the past year now)

 

Get the Evo by all means! It's a great car, but my advice is to be careful with it until you get a chance to learn its limits in a safe environment. It can be very fun, but like any fast car, it can bite u.

 

I would NOT get an Evo as a first car. Get a beater for now and get a little more experience under your belt.
An evo as a first car is like getting on a bucking bronco at the pony rides.
Get a 5 speed civic or something cheap and drive it for another year or so to get the hang of driving stick, and also to get the stupid mistakes that ALL new drivers make the first yr or so out of your system.

 

I was thinking of buying my cousin civic and learn a bit more.. Btw If I get the evo I won't buy the car till end of the summer.. After I turn 20..

 

yeah definitely a better idea. if you dont know how to drive stick. learn first on a beater. all that raw power being controlled by an inexperienced foot is dangerous. not to mention the age factor. it's cool though. Evo is an excellent car. just be careful. Evo might not be the most economical car if you live in NYC like queens or something. But it is sex on wheels. best of luck and welcome!!

 

Well after of a year of driving and civic and a mx6(both stick) I feel I need alittle more pratice.. so ill wait till end of the summer and see..

Ill be fine.. I don't really go to the city a lot anyway..

Depends if you're willing to take care of your car. Since this is your first car, I would highly recommend you getting a beater (if you do not have one) before getting into an Evo. My thoughts, take them as you please.

 

I know I will take care of the evo.. I don't have a car but my cousins car is like mine.. I take better care then he does.. I do plan to mod the car alittle.. I'll just have to learn alittle bit more before buying one..
