I am currently driving a 2000 ZX2. I used to be into WRX's and STI's for a while. I was kind of disappointed when they went soft on the suspension on the 08 WRX. I'm getting into auto-X this season and the 08 WRX is obviously not the car for me. Now lets look at the 08 STI, sure it is faster then the Evo X but it is slower in the cornering aspect. It also cost almost 3k more and not to mention the interior looks like ***. And those seats, "inserts non existent barfing smily" A few weeks ago I had decided I was going to get the 09 ralliart art when it comes out. A few days ago I decided why not just spend the extra 10K on an Evo?
I came on here because this looks like a great place to start in getting familiar with the car before I even buy it. I like the idea of a warranty and I read on here i you mod it for performance that the stealership will pretty much screw you unless you take it to court with a lawyer. Anyways, I'm coming from a FWD car with about 120 whp so an unmodded evo should suit me fine. So I say I don't actually plan on buying the car until around the fall/winter in 09. By then I should have at least 20-25k to put down.
