just a general car question?

I'm going to be driving about 600 miles here in a few days in the evo and I want to get some tape to put on it to keep it from getting rock chips and stuff on the bumper and front of the hood what would you all suggest I use to cover the bumper and part of the hood with. I see ppl do this all the time at the track or driving a long distance to a car show what are they using as far tape goes and does it leave anything on the paint where you need to clay bar it out or anything

Thanks

Painters tape is good - as long as it doesnt get wet. Your absolute best bet is to get a clear bra.
Dont underestimate the damage you can get on long trips! Too many people have kicked themselves for not taking precautions.
