DSMer -- new evo owner!
Hey guys, I've been a DSMer for about 3 years or so now. I first had a 95 tsi awd in electric blue, but sold it due to bent frame. Then last year I picked up another 95 tsi awd in green and have the following mods:
FP3150
255lph
PTE 780cc
FMIC
BC 272/272 cams
FP Exhaust manifold
FP Intake
FP SS o2 housing
3" turbo back exhaust
DSMLink
TiAL 44mm EWG
Greddy Type S BOV
etc, etc....
Anywho, my DD was an 06 Cobalt SS S/C which I just traded in today for a 2003 Evo VIII w/ 35K miles. It's 100% stock, and the only mods I could tell the last owner did was a sound system. All the bolts and stuff looked like they haven't been touched. Wiring, belts, hoses look brand new. Interior looks like new, exterior looks 10/10. Wheels are in good shape and it has some pretty damn sweet racing Kumho tires. Don't recall the the exact ones at the moment, but they look super sticky. Car drives great and feels strong, and I got a pretty good deal at $19,000 even! It's took dark to take pics, but I'll get some up tomorrow.
I just wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know I'll be starting to snoop around this forum to get some advice on the evo. I'm going to try to wait as long as I can to mod the car. I really want to keep it stock and just be my DD...but I know at some point I'll get the itch. See you guys around!

Yea...after about 5 minutes of reading the forum I decided I want to get the EVO IX diverter valve and a boost gauge and a turbo timer. I hate just turning the key and the car goes off. I'm so used to the Talon's turbo timer.

I should have specified...that's the girlfriend. I let her drive it down the road to our apartment and she was super excited about it.
