zMax...

Here's a question out of the blue.. has anyone ever tried zmax? I wonder if it really works as well as they say it does.

It's crap. Oil comes with all the additives you need, especially if you use synthetic. Anything like this = snake oil. The only "additive" that I'd ever recommend would be Seafoam, but that's only for intense cleaning.

I used to use it when I owned my old '87 Galant and '90 Integra, but I agree its pretty much a waste of money. As long as you use a good quality oil you don't need to run that stuff. My friend uses it with Mobil 1 in his Infiniti and swears he can feel a difference but I think hes full of **** I wouldn't waste your money on it.
