i have a 2006 mitsu evo MR and put alot of mods in it! GT35R, Brian Crower Stroker, 4in intake, 3.5 exhaust, Stand alone AEM, 1000CC injectors, AEM Fuel system kit, HKS 272 CAM, you name it... but!!! i get this fuel sputter that makes the car disabled and i gotta pull over to the side of the road and get it towed... now... can it be the fuel lines ( electronically ) may have a malfunction? or the evacuation port isnt controlled by the AEM? what? has anyone else experienced this problem? I thought it was because i was burning too rich and fouling out the spark plugs but we disabled the AEM sensor..... some one talk to me?

 

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? I'd test fuel pressure first to make sure that the pump(s) are delivering. If you don't have a gauge then you can just measure the volume pumped into a bucket. Have the injectors checked as well. Then I'd go through the ECM setup and its related sensors. Incidentally, this is not the appropriate forum for such an advanced troubleshooting question.
