you should of just put Yes and No, not both or none, those make no since.. none is the same and no, and you cant do both........ :/

do a before and after dyno to see if it's worth it. IMO it's not, things get hot since it's a combustion engine, i'd recommend leaving it alone.

i think i am going to heatwrap my DP. the idea is to keep the heat inside the pipe and not dissipate to engine area.

i have my buschur downpipe heatwrapped. i haven't noticed/tested it out compared to non-wrapped, but i get piece of mind because the downpipe comes real close to the oil pan. if it doesn't help exhaust out that much, it is a good preventative measure for that area. i'm sure it might help out oil temps but i got no data .

I wrapped the DP.
Keeps the heat away from the oil pan. No problems after 3 years.

I would advise against heat wrap. The main issue I have with it is that it usually traps moisture, and in some cases salt, between the material and the pipe usually causing corrosion. A pro application of some kind of ceramic coating would most likely work much better. If you want to go all out, then order some gold heat reflection tape from a race team. Gold is one of the greatest reflectors of heat known to man...looks pretty cool too haha.
