Im not sure if its just me, but my evo has a slight delay in acceleration when my a/c is on or if im on a hill. When I am on a dead stop with the a/c on, and i step on the gas for about 1/4 way down my car doesnt really move. I need to let off the gas and gas it again. It has a slight delay on the hill as well. The delay is like 1 or 2 seconds before it picks up like normal. I only have the air filter changed out to a k&n and everything else is stock. Why does this happen?

 

I would take the car back to the dealer and have them look at the car. This is not normal and should be fixed.

yeh dude..get it tune or bring it back to the dealer...b/4 bring it back to the dealer..dont forget to take your filter off too..it might void your warranty..man..

before you take it to the dealer, try putting the stock filter back in and seeing if that makes a difference.

 

is it running rich at all? Sounds like too much fuel.
