Whats up everybody, just last tuesday i got a new Black 2003 Lancer oz 5-speed for 12500. My previous car was a 1990 eagle talon tsi (got sick of all the repair bills). Although i miss the turbo, i do like the lancers low end torque. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. Also, I do not know very much about the lancer (previous dsm owner) but i was wondering what (if any) weak points exsist? Once again, Hi and thanks!

hmm. ive had a lancer for 7 months and the known probs i have were few but they were: back window grinds on the way up, transmission ****s up from neutral to reverse (but only if youre moving so its my fault) and its a little rougher changing gears. I like that if you rev it to redline you get a noise that sounds like a turbo without a blow off valve. that turns me on. basically its a great car i love it and i would chose it over britney spears (or some other celebrity you people find sexy)

 

and if you get an aftermarket exhaust dont be surprised if it touches the right side of your bumper, it happens to a lot of people.
