NEW EVO what bolt ons to get need help!

hey guys well i just got back from iraq and i bought my self an evo 9 MR right before i deployed so im stoked to have it again. i have the HKS hi power exhaust, downpipe, and turbo timer. i want to add some more gains but i want to make sure what im putting on is right and not because i think it sounds or looks cool i want my car to stay reliable. I'v always been very conserned with my cars condition so i always pay good money for my parts becuase i believe in you "pay for what you get." just as i did with my 05 rsx type s but, this car is a totally different breed... on some upcoming mods i was thinking of a O2 housing, test pipe, intake with upper intercooler piping, a turbo manifold (if nesesary) and a tune....also i know the evo doesn't respond well to a BOV running low numbers and low boost so should i totally count this part out untill i make higher numbers? if you have opinions on any other parts i should get or a part that is better then what i have listed to add let me know. thanks

this had been covered thousands of times however ill give you a little but of advice. Like you thought there is no need for a new bov with your setup. Unless your running speed density a bov venting to the atmosphere will cause you problems. You have an evo 9 so you already have the metal dv which in your case is the best thing for you. Plus if you get a cone style intake you will hear your dv anyway
To complete your exhaust a test pipe and an O2 housing will give you some great gains. I dont think getting a manifold is worth it as they have been known to crack however on the other hand some people have had great success with them. On the other hand you can get equivalent results just by porting your stock exhaust manifold.
For the intercooler piping your better off replacing the lower intercooler piping before the upper or you could always do both. You will see much more gains from the lower piping. Reason being that the stock piece is quite restrictive right where it connects to the turbo with a 1.75 in diameter if i remember correctly. Any lower intercooler piping will fix that problem by having that taper illuminated by using a coupler as the reducer instead of the piping. That way the piping will start right at 2.5 in.
Last thing you should consider is some type of boost controller whether id be a manual or an electronic. That will facilitate in changing boost levels and will also help to reduce boost taper present in the stock boost control.
Lastly as you know its important to get a good tune to get the most of all of your mods. Ask around and find a good shop around you or there are also options such as email flashes.
Good luck with everything!
