increasing hp

i have an evo 8 an about to put on a t67 25g turbo kit i just want to know does anyone think that i need to change the rod bearing, bcos i will tune it to about 450awhp thank you in advance.

If you took care of your car and the compression is good it should hold 450 very well! Depends on the condition of the engine, miles, etc. how long it will hold together.

You could make 700 wheel horse power and be on stock internals. You just won't last long. It all depends on how much you abuse it but there are people running 450 with the internals left untouched. Just plan to rebuild the motor down the line with that much power

it should be fine i see a lot of people have the stock internal and be able to hold 500+whp and nothing worng with it.
