im new here. i just got my 06 evo ix se in February, and its been through alot already. a month and a half after i got it . on my birthday i might add, my car got keyed and my mirrors got kicked off. then someone at work hit my back bumper. its all fixed now though, i just started doing some things to it but i dont know what else. for right now i have a greddy ti-c exhaust, greddy type rs bov. a few gauges, intake and new intercooling piping on the way, just got my tints put on. im not sure what else i want to do with it without spending a stupid amount of money because i still need to pay it off, any suggestions??

I'd suggest a tune and mbc.

-Downpipe with a test pipe (if you don't already have one)
-Hallman Pro manual boost controller
-o2 Housing
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
-And then get tuned

That should all cost you under $1,000

umm well for now i dont really want to spend more than another grand til i get more paid off, the only thing i really need to do is put my turbo timer in which ive had for about a month now and its still in the box, and hook up my last gauge. im just looking for cheaper little stuff that will make it faster

Welcome to the boards. You may want to sell that turbo timer. You don't really need it. +1 on the downpipe, walbro, mbc, and tune. Your car will be crazy fast for about a grand!

 

the only reason i have the turbo timer is because i have a thing with being late every where i go. especially work and i beat on my car to get there on time and i need to let it cool down a little bit.

 

Don't really need it huh? Do you just think everyone buys them because it looks pretty? Um no.... If you don't wanna have to keep buying a new turbo, a turbo timer is a very good investment!

 

Welcome to the site. Sorry to hear about all the hating that people were doing on your Evo. Some people just really don't like them or they're jealous. Any pictures of the car? Congrats on picking up the SE, its my favorite one.
