Newbie from WI

just saying hi and introducing myself....I'm a mechanic (just graduated) i have been into Evos for awhile now....im looking to buy one...im nuts about the 2006 models. They just look badass with that bumper.

just poppin in here to say hi real quick....impressed with the professional conduct with the forum already.

Welcome to EvoM. I wrench on cars all the time too, usually its on muscle cars but I like working on Evos as well. I love the '06 body style as well. In fact its my favorite one out of all of them. I am starting to warm up to the '08's but I still like the '06 the best. Good luck on finding one.

hahaha same here about warming up to the 08s, but still liking the 06s the best. lol. im thinkin about trading in my ix for an 09 if they look the same(09 should have all the problems worked out from the 08)

yeah i like the front of th 08s but the back just seems like there is to much bumper......maybe its because the taillights are smaller but the backs seem wierd to me....and are the widths the same?? i think the 08s seem skinnier

im about 10 minutes from Appleton. and yeah its definitly hard to find a IX for a good deal....let alone an evo in general...i should head down to madison sometime...i always see decent cars on the little side dealerships in the main drag in...but i dont know how reputable those are...

no where big like UTI or anything... just a Technical school thats pretty well known in WI and we got around 5 brand new cars every year that dealerships donate
