Yes, I've had cops enforce laws that I've broken while driving my evo.

Im not sure about where you live, but here you can tint every window except the front 3 as dark as you want.

I've had 5% for about 2 years and gotten hassled twice for it. not as bad as I would have guessed but the answer is yes.

I have gotten stopped twice for no reason other than to harrass me, but got let go each time. Never got bothered about the tint though (20%).

lol! +1

There is a negative association between young drivers and Evo's. There has got to be a reason for this. Please don't add to it.

Congrats & Welcome. All depends on your state/county and how the cops are. I agree with everyone that said keep it legal.... the car does attract a lot of attention so the less reason you give to be pulled over the better.

Congrats on the evo... After having different cars with tint on them, its not worth the hassle that cops give about tints.

Cops are gay. Depending on your area, you will be hassled about your tint at some time or another. I would stay legal on the tint. Most inportantly, enjoy your car and welcome to Evom. This place rules, you will have fun here.

Depends on where you live. I live in upstate NY now and get follow all the time because 1) I have Ohio tags and they seem to make presumptions about of out of towners here and 2) because I drive a dropped civic with 18's blah blah blah and they tend automatically assume you drive fast and have no regard for other drivers. I like to call it getting "profiled" because that's exactly what is. Regardless of your tint I'd say your prone to being profiled anyway the tint will just make it worse. But I can't live w/o tint so you just have to succumb to being tailed every now and then. Keep the high rpms to roads you know there aren't many cops.
