06 Mr Se

Hey all, I'm new to the boards. I have been floating around here for some time and just decided to join. I have a silver 06 MR SE. I'm making around 380-390whp and around 350-360lb ft on a dyno jet. I've got the basics and then some. Next on the list is a labonte meth kit. I'm looking to max out the stocker by the end of the summer. Maybe a green sometime along the way if I get bored. Just thought I'd say hi...

I've got pics but the camera is out in the car. I will upload them tomorrow if I'm feeling unlazy lol. They make an MR SE, it is basically the MR (6 speed) with the SE appearance package, (red stitching in seats, diamond black rims (polished), front air damns, etc) Just a little icing on the cake

Exactly. It's a MR with the apperance of a SE.

Dont waste your money on fp green turbo for a little bit more invest in a br3065 kit with ported stock manifold.Your car is making alot of power right now,for a meth kit buy a aquimist kit that's the best alky kit on the marget becuase it has a gauge and a fail safe sensor, which means if the pump stops spraying alky the ecu send a signal to the wastegate spring to run what the wategates max boost is set for the original flash.Just curious who tuned your car and are you running cams?,if not you have one strong 9 mr i own the same car too evo 9 mr se very rare, expecially in apex silver, and charcoal grey.

Really...?? I didn't know a 3065 would bolt directly to the stock manifold. I thought only the 16g and 20g would bolt directly up. Well if that's the case then I'm deff. gonna go with that. And yes, I do have cams, (cosworth). And my car is apex silver...soo... I guess that makes it rare lol. P.s. I was gonna go with the labonte kit w/ the failsafe and bbk (bypass thing) for just those reasons. But if the aquamist kit comes with it I will have to look into it, thanks.

A GT30 will not bolt to the stock manifold. It uses a T3/T4 flange. The Green is a good turbo, but it all depends on your goals and use of the car.

The gt30r i'm taking about is sold at buschur racing,it's called the br3065 setup that's a direct bolton kit and either comes with stock ported mani,or for little more money you can get a tubular mani. The green a is very good turbo nice for street or strip but they make you wait 6weeks for it,and you only pick up 40whp.The br3065 is 1,000 dollars more but you get a sick turbo kit thats makes 500whp easy with the same exact setup, search on you youtube there's a vid with someone making 500whp on a dynojet with on problem, and goes for a ride inside the car, check it out the car ridiculas ,that setup is good for low low 11's maybe a 10 sec car,the bad bish was using the same setup at first and went 10's too.

I already have a ported manifold.. I will have to look into the 3065. Quite a bit more power than a green. Thanks for the info, I was kind of weary of the green just for the fact that it doesn't make huge gains for the money

The kit comes with a manifold because it does not bolt to the stock manifold. This is not a "bolt on" upgrade turbo like the Green. "Bolt on" means that it requires no other parts/modification to work. This turbo requires a new mani, O2, oil lines, fan and IC piping ...

The buschur kit is true bolt on mod it comes with everything you need. The intercooler pipes is optional in case you ugrade to a bigger front mount,if you do just buy lower pipe the upperpipe doesn't do much unless you using small battery upgrade, leave the stock one so it looks more stealth you won't be dissapointed with this setup the green is overrated.
