I have a SMC meth kit (not trunk kit) sittin here waiting to be put on. I bought this non trunk kit cause of course it was cheaper used than the others..I'm pretty sure I can buy some kind of extension or wires from XX depot store to make this a trunk kit? Am I correct? And How would I go about doing this? I was looking for a write up maybe someone did about covnerting them to a trunk kit, maybe I'm just making something simple really complicated. Thanks.

You are going to have to extend some of the wires and the hose from the tank to the engine.

You could always sell the kit and buy the correct one for what you want to do.
