light weight crank supposedly spins faster and reduces crank hp loss to the wheels.. header will increase flow and time it so it exits the engine faster and gives hp/tq.. piggyback trys to trick the ecu into making ur car try and be faster sooo it does nothing..

try this instead..

A lighter crank pulley does not spin faster since it is directly connected to the crank and thus how fast it spins is limited by how fast the crank can spin. It's purpose is to reduce the weight the crank has to spin. It doesn't make power in the traditional sense of the term. if you want info on what all these parts do, read the FAQ in my sig.

I wouldnt waste your time and money with the crank pulley or the piggyback thing. The header may give you more power, just have to read about it and see what the company has done with it! The crank pulley just reduces rotating mass which isnt much, may even give you a vibration if you take off the stock one! Take a look at the brain flash thats above, or maybe an apexi afcII thats easy to work with!

Depends on what you want and what your future plans are. A tune (like the reflash provides) should be the most bang for the buck short of a turbo kit.

For the reflash you have to remove your stock ECU and send it to WORKS. This means potentially being without a car for a few days.
NA mods don't make "great differences" in general, it's just the nature of the beast. The reflash if done right should yield the greatest gains, the header might do something but who knows, there's some debate as to whether a header/headers do a damn thing to these kinds of cars.

Piggy does 7+ ft pounds of torque or 3500-6500 rpms. It does it forever. It tricks the ECU but does it forever. Plus for warranty issues Piggy is removed in 5 minutes with no sign of it left behind. Reflash is automatic Warranty killer. Installs in minutes and is made specifically for the Lancer. All put together have transformed the car into something fun for sure. All these people can't be wrong or we would have heard it a long time ago............ Thanks for asking.

What's up bud. Welcome to the boards.

I have all 3 of these parts so ill try to answer breifly.

Headers: Gave excellent power through-out the whole band. (ask anybody who has them on) If you have a custom-exhaust the exhaust tone MAY be accentuated by the headers. Meaning whatever "tone" you have for your exhaust may sounds just a bit louder with the headers on. But i have the RRM axle-back muffler and you cannot tell i have headers on. I would imagine the headers wouldnt make your stock exhaust any louder assuming you haven't messed with your exhaust/muffler. Overall. Best bang for your buck in regards to performance parts for the lancer (as far as i and some are concerned)

Piggy: I live in Cali like you and we both know the gas prices are slowly sucking the life out of us. This piggy made itself worthwhile the day i got it. gives a slight bump in power for the upper-range and best of all (the reason i purchased it) it saved me some gas. Proven and Proven again.

Pulley: You'll notice your needle (tach needle) will jump a tad quicker than it did in stock form. I wouldnt go as far as to say it gives GREAT power but you can feel a difference from stock to the RRM pulley. Some say it helped a bit at top end but i personally feel it did it's job in the lower range for the initial take off.

hope that helps.
