So true, just do what you can yourself. Even if you're just a novice, you can still do all the fluid and filter changes, and you can change the brake pads. A stock motor will last a very long time.

well i would try to look for one that is stock and never really been messed with but its hard to say my friend bought his 03 new 2 tranys its ready for a third my other got his from his roommate that bought it new 60k miles blew the engine mine second owner bought it at 30k miles it now has 50 an is running pefect so its hard to say really
