i need your opinons and thoughts PLEASE
im looking to buy an evo within the next year, I been looking and researching on evos and they are my favorite cars by far over any other car, i been looking at the 2006 evo ix mr, and the new 2008 evo x, i dont know which one would be better for me, i never had a turbo car before, which car you guys think would be a great step up from a regular lancer?? please bless me with your opinions and thoughts as i dont know who else to turn to,
I'm finding it interesting that despite al the new stability electronics onboard the new 10, I have yet to see it best the previous Evo (9) around the track. When you read what the mags all write about the 10's ability to get through corners, you get the impression it's the quickest car out right now. Then you read in the same article a stock 9MR beats it by 2-seconds a lap.
It leaves me confused.
I'd buy a new MR (if I didn't already own a 9) if it were priced more in line with it's value(sub$35k). I'm sure it'll settle in where it should be.

i would go with a ix, i like them alot better, if u drive an x its more luxury. in my opinion i think a good step up from a lancer would be a ix. im selling mine. pm me if interessted
thanks guys for your imput, i think that the ix looks better and the evo 9 and 8 always been my favorite cars, if anyone else has anything to add please let me know, it can never hurt to get advice from people who own the cars themselves, thanks
The IX MR is my type of car, but if you want an Evolution, then get a brand new X. New is better than used, even if the IX is the better car. I prefer my IX MR over a X GSR/MR any day, but I bought mine new and I don't like buying used cars. Get a brand new X...That's my take.
IX feels like a raced prepped vehicle out of the factory. Basically a 15k car with a 15k drivetrain with a ton of modding potential
X is a slightly softer evolution with daily driving in mind and all the gizmos in the interior like most cars come equipped with today. Modding is coming along strongly with companies like AMS, Buschur, ETS, Ultimate Racing and many others.

so i say go with whichever one you think looks better
