New guy with a bit of a Skyline background

Thought I'd intorduce myself whilst I'm on here reading up on things.
The name's Mark, and I'm a Brit now living in Calgary. Got a bit of a history with Skylines, about 6 years now and I'm currently on my 4th. Trouble is they have to be at least 15yrs old to import here and coming from my last one, an R33 GTR with 600whp, the current R32 with little more than standard power, it's all a bit of an anti-climax and time to try something different and hopefully a bit newer.
Here's the R32 prior to changing the licence plate and putting the proper headlights back in (needed Accord DOT lights for the provincial inspection).

So soon, hopefully end of this year, I'll have sold the R32 and ditched the Xterra leaving me set to pick up an Evo X, likely a GSR.
For now, I'll continue to get myself educated on the Evo's so that when I do buy one I shouldn't be asking so many stupid questions that have already been asked and answered a thousand times before

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks. The suspension has settled a little since those pics and it now sits a little better.

I'm kind of hoping I can swap the Work Meisters over onto the X, maybe with a bit of an arch roll I guess. Hopefully they'll clear the X's front brakes.....only one way to find out I guess

It was all due to the 15 yr rule.....anything over that just has to have a basic compliance/mechanical inspection and bypasses the bumper requirments which up until a couple of weeks ago used to be different in Canada.

However, they've just changed the requirements to kind of match the US and now I believe all US market Evo's are legal to import, VIII, IX and X....yay

Only from when I first picked it up so it's embarassingly dusty ....something which has since been rectified

Welcome mark. You are going to love the evo. Just like the rb26 power can be easily made and 11's come cheap.
