Hey, what's up? My name is Jessie, and I'm a noob from SLC, Utah. I don't have an EVO, but a 2000 Eclipse RS instead. I am also a member of club3g.com

I am currently working on a turbo setup, my goal in 300whp. Current parts:

Stock EVO8 turbo internal gate at 12 psi
Megan Manifold and O2 housing
Top fuel BOV (thinking of changing to synapse synchronic??)
WRX 440's
Walbro 255
FPR, unsure of what brand, but is adjustable
Blox Vaccum Manifold
Ebay FMIC with piping
Correct studs for manifold
Manifold spacer, angled
Gauge pillar
AEM wideband, Tru-boost, Oil Pressure
Autometer EGT
ECU Flash installed and working on laptop

Sorry, I don't have any pics of my car on the computer. It's Kalapana Black, with stock wheels, spoiler, and body. I'm more into the performance aspect, rather than show. I like having a decent looking car, but why make it "look fast" instead of putting that money into the engine, and making it fast? (Plus, I already get a ton of random motor revs from all the gay Honda's around my neighborhood) And no, I'm not doing it so I can street race, that is only for retards. I would much rather keep it at the track.

Oh, and before everyone tells me too, I will SEARCH until I can search no more, then ask a question.

Okay I have to ask because I am new and I don't mean any disrespect.. Why didn't you buy an older GSX or GS-T eclipse? The 4g63 is a really good engine and the older chasis is really solid. I have a friend who has a built 91 GSX and an EVO 8 and his GS-T (on slicks) Destroys pretty much anything. have you considered keeping your 2000 Eclipse as a DD and buying and older eclipse for performance?

When I bought the car about a year ago, I didn't plan on going FI. Then I found the tuning potential of the 4g64. Don't get me wrong the 4g63 is an amazing powerplant. There also weren't any GST's or GSx's in my area at the time. Another reason was the cost of auto insurance, I'm only 19, and I already pay $220 a month. I also didn't want to mess around with turbo'd cars that I KNOW for a fact had the crap driven out of them.

In the future I plan on swapping in an EVO8 head with 272's, and have a fully built bottom end, with Weisco 8:1 pistons, and Eagle rods. Evenutually I would like to have a 500whp daily driver, that is reliable. Why? Why the hell not? I get tired of seeing all the ricer Mexicans (no offense to Mexicans on here, just those in my area), with fart cannons on their Honduhs. I also don't give a rat's *** about gas prices, I won't let that subject run my life. I want to have a Sport Compact that has been modded correctly, and is completely reliable, and for the most part looks stock on the outside, except for the IC in the bumper.
