Has anyone felt power loss after driving hard? How much of a loss do you feel in power after running your car hard? How much driving do you do before loos of power? Is it true with the AC on you loose alot of hp?

 

Yes a/c does rob engine power. If you have a automatic like me my tranny kinda kicks down faster after driving hard. I have noticed that sometimes the car seems laggy.

 

All cars lose power from the flywheel, if that's what you mean, before it gets to the wheels. On averages it's about 20% to 35% percent of loss depending on transmission with FWD losing the least and AWD losing the most. As for loss simply through driving, I think it's simply due to becoming acclimated to driving for the day.
