got the TBE, got the reflash, now what?
Hey, so I'm looking for some advice on what to do next. I've got a 2006 MR with some mild mods.
Here's what I have now. 1. Cobb Tuning TBE (sounds awesome by the way), 2. Injen Intake system with hard IC pipes, 3. GFB bov (I know, I know, but my OEM bov was giving me a lot of flutter), and 4. Cobb Tuning Stage 2 ECU reflash.
So, what should I do next? I'm thinking of changing out the cams for some 272's, installing the Walbro 255, and getting a custom tune. What do you think? Some say maybe a bigger turbo??? I want to keep it a daily driver. And my focus is getting off the line quick. Thanks for any suggestions.

Also a boost controller (mbc (if you don't care about 4 season changes) or ebc (if you do.))
Depending on your power goals, you don't need to change the fmic.
Just my 2 cent.

I would say start looking into a better clutch. Cause if you plan on doing any major mods then the stocker WILL NOT hold up. They pretty much suck IMO. I'm getting ready to do a clutch/flywheel in my car and all I have done is a k&N drop in but I know I'm gonna be going to the drag strip with the car so I wanted to be ready for it before I did all my bolt ons.
thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for the feedback. MOstly #2, but I wouldn't mind putting down some quarter miles times now and then, so some drag too.
Getting an Evo off the line quick tends to put a lot of stress on the clutch. Therefore. I would suggest exploring an upgraded clutch. Might as well Remove the restrictor pill and upgrade the clutch line while you are at it.
Look into some basic weight saving such as a mini battery.
LICP should net a few extra HP.
A Dyno tune will make the most out of what you have.
Motor mounts and shifter bushings are low cost upgrades that would improve the driveability of a DD and allow for faster, more accurate shifts thus making you faster off the line.

Good advice. Thanks people! I think I'll go with the Walbro, cams and custom tune. I'll check into injectors and meth options. I don't know much about those. A new clutch is a must. I'll do that in the spring... might as well get the most of the stock one first. I also like the ideas of the motor mounts.
