How "RARE" is a RR evolution 9 mr
As for back on topic.. when I was shopping to buy my Evo, I was searching auto trader for all 2006 Evos that were red. I found a ton of RS models, a decent number of GSRs, but only a few MRs. Like maybe 3 for sale over a one year period. So they are out there - as you can see at least 3 owners on this thread alone - just not as common a grey or silver.
On a side note, the open atmospheric BOV is not the best mod at this point in time. I suggest you have your cousin read up on it and go back to the stock 9 recirculating BOV and instead doing a drop-in filter (or injen intake if you want to hear the whoosh), turbo-back exhaust (O2 housing, downpipe, hi-flow cat, cat-back) and a tune. Good to go. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

You are mistaken. LYs were produced through '05.
Also, claiming something is rare based solely on empirical evidence is retarded.
Zomg, it's rare because I only saw 2 of them!!!
To those that think the eb is rare. You guys are biased because of location. The last time i went to an evo bbq at my buddys house there we're about 10 of us. I think about 6 of them we're eb, one lonely ww,and a mix of silver,gg. Does that mean that ww is rare
. Let's get production numbers, until then it's all biased.

I would think Yellow Evo's would be the rarest color as they were only brought over in 03.
Red is certainly not the rarest color, that's a laugh. Electric Blue or Blue By You would probably be next, and then Wicked White. Silver, Red, Black, Gray, are all common Evo colors.

Listen to this. That SSQV is nothing more than a paperweight. I had one and recirculated it, and it just sucks.
Go for a JDM MR BOV. Much better.

RR was the official color, 2 of my boys bought them when they arrived at jacksonville nc area, but the more popular color is the gg and asilver colors now to find.
Why don't people post production numbers instead of guessing based on what they see? I have yet to see any production number tables and I've been to mitsu's webiste and searched here. Their financial statements talk about production, but not individual numbers by color.
