I have an 03 evo 8 also. First thing i would do is all the maintence things like change oil mobil 1 10w30 , and mobil one filter , then Change the trany , TC and diff fluid. Diaqueen sae 90 for TC and rear diff. or ams oil 80w90 works good too. Then you can use bg syncro shift or BG 2. I used ams oil 75w 90 syncro shift and works great. Then move on to checking ur cooling fluid , brake fluid/clutch fluid. Bleed your clutch slave cylinder evo's are known to build air in the clutch line and Next move on to spark plugs. change them. evo's eat up spark plugs. i run ngk iredium . Then once you know all maintence is 100% up to date do a baseline dyno pull and then build from there. First upgrade on our cars should be TBE , bov , fuel pump and MBC. and full intake then get it tuned. BOV and Fuel pump are the 2 most important cause our stock pump sucks big time and our plastic bov barely holds stock boost let alone 23psi. a good upgrade would be an evo mr metal bov or forge makes a nice one too.

Get tint not "tints" or whatever the hell that is haha.. Search and search and search before you buy anything. I really like the ETS stuff its awesome quality and fitment plus its not as expensive as alot of the other brands out there. Look over this forum this question has been answered millions of times of the past 5 years. Check out the newbie forum there is a nice write up about this question

I correct my last post, do as above said-- research like crazy and know what goal you are going for. I bought a bunch of parts that were no good for what i wanted because i didn't research and ask questions. Money down the tubes, you live and you learn- but in your case learn through others mistakes.

Exhuast , test-pipe, DP, MBC, Filter, good boost gauge, LICP, tbolt clamps and a good tuner.

Keep up with maintenance, a new set of plugs, new tranny fluid, new differential fluid.
suspension wise get a swift/ bilstein set up. Excellent for the street.

Dont forget to get the whiteline RCA kit.

Enjoy the evo and don't drive like a *****, drive like you stole it!!!
