It depends on how you run your test pipe. Personally I'm going to go Buschur Racing for my full turbo back and I will be running a HFC. Just makes me feel better running that instead of a test pipe. You may want to look into buschur, heard lots of good things about them!

Megan downpipe, perfect fitment
I'm actually making my test pipe, looks too simple to buy, 2 flanges, 1 section of 3" tube and a O2 bung, I can' t see paying 120ish for that.

Yeah, I've been running a MR downpipe & testpipe for 2 years now. No problems at all.

I don't think name brands match. 3" is 3"

Buschur has a great TBE, and utilizing a HFC from Buschur might be better for you if you are trying not to send a CEL. But it still might. Anyway, Invidia DP, HKS DP, and others mentioned above are pretty much all made to amtch the 3" you want. IMOP, staying with one complete system is best. Companies didn't design their TBE to be mismatched. They were engineered to work together. Why not save up and purchase the whole thing with a good O2 as well. Again, Buschur has it down pat.

One last thing... Since you have an 03 Evo, did last owner purchase the 10.5 hotside?? If not, then that would be highly recommended. GL which ever way you go...

get DC sports, it skips the cat. saves you a spot that can leak, and you get the whole thing done in 1 shot. we sell them for 255 shipped, let me know man!!

if you use a CEL FIX your CEL light won't come on. When i installed my test pipe at first i forgot to do that and got the check engine light but then i put it on reset the code and nothings happened since.
