I was just wondering if it's possible with some performance mods to boost a Lancer's whp to 200-215 and if possible what would I need to do so.

Turbo + all the other engine mods out now, it would be a lot passed 200.

 

Where did you come up with that figure? Boe has the world's fastest USDM Lancer and I think he's only pushing 170 whp. (Boe, please correct me if I'm wrong) and he's got far more than just a turbo.

RRM's turbo kit adds about 60 horse. That's 180 at the crank. I'm sure someone else will provide the details, but I don't think 200 has been reached yet.

"Capable of 230+ W.H.P." means (I think) that you can mod your lancer to have up to 230hp with that turbo setup. I dont think that it means the turbo will give you a total of 230hp. I could be wrong...

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Just to give it a little boost the turbo would take me a while to get.

 

what i want to know is, is that 230+ (as rrm claims) on a stock engine, or do you have to upgrade everything else. i don't think its as easy as just slappin a turbo on.

 

rrm's website says it, it brings everything you need. it even as a fuel kit but ofcourse your going to need to do other mods in order to hit that number but that turbo is a great start(if you have that type of cash on you) i'm going to do it when i have a chance but for now i'm going to stick to the basics....mostly looks

 

i think the turbo kit (if it says capable of 230+ whp) is capable of that much if the engine is built up to handle as much boost as that turbo is capable of. then you add mods.

i think its capable of 230 with other mods like new pistons and stuff
