Looking for opinion??

Not sure where to post this so i decided to put it here lol. I came across an 04 sti 60k miles. It has blown piston rings. Was wondering if it is worth to buy and fix it and maybe sell it or is there to many other things that could possibley be wrong? Ideas? Hes asking 12k i believe.

Definitely a little lower, getting a new motor and having it installed costs a lot of money in a subie. You can always get quotes from shops to see how much it would cost to fix/repair and stuff.

This is EXACTLY what you should do. You could make a good 8-10k.

If you're prepared to take the stress and if you deeply enjoy fixing all the problems and possibly more problems to come, then you should buy it. I personally would not buy it because I would have to invest thousands and thousands of dollars to just fix the car up. I don't believe in buying used or damaged cars because I'm not willing enough to take the stress. Good luck on your decision.
