Thinking about picking up an Evo

Hey guys and gals! Have been thinking about selling my car and picking up something different. I have been looking at a few different cars and as you can tell a WW evo is one of them. If you could maybe persuade me into buying one. I am looking for a reliable car and go low 10s @ like 140ish. I have also been looking at the 08 corvette coupes with the ls3 and also the c5 z06s but not sure. Anyway Thanks!

All three of those cars are great choices to complete your goal.

I dunno how much it costs to do mods to the Vettes to get them down to 10s. But depending on that, the Evo is probably cheaper.

Yeah I know they all can get the job done. I was hoping to pick up a modded evo already. I was thinking the ams 850 kit with full bolt ons. And I would prolly throw a blower on the z06 and minor bolt ons.

Get an Evo. It is one of the most fun-to-drive cars out in the world today. If you're looking for straight-line speed, then something bigger and more powerful like the Corvette will work better for you. If you do get the Evo X, then get the GSR.

^^ eh this srt isnt a turd I can say that much. I built it and I am ready for something else. Just did some insurance quotes and the evo is more than my srt and the z06 is less I dont know, I am gonna get my car sold and go from there.

if you havent, just go drive one. im coming from a modded audi 2.7Twin, drove the srt, zo6, cobra etc...all those cars are great. get mad attention, loud, and scary fast in a straight line. but after going straight and highway prowling gets old in 2 weeks, the evo is where youll want to be. easy to make fast in a straight, but thrives in twisties, like above said, if you do get a X, get a gsr, forget that paddle crap. keep us posted...

Yeah I havent seen too many evo's done up right around here so maybe its time for a change. And for the srt, everytime I have ran the car is has been broken. But in its current state should go 11.70s @ 122ish on pump gas with slicks.
