just wondering, anybody know a good place around TN that i can have my rims cleaned up and painted or anodized blue? I know, blue is a risky color, but I love the blue rims I saw on a yellow Evo on here.

indeed. And I was diehard Nissan too. I had a parts list for the 350 and everything. I was even contemplating dropping a RB motor in the thing. I still love Nissans, but the Evo has taken over. bwahahaha!!

Finally getting back into the threads. I no longer have the Evo. Traded it for a 2006 STi. I love the Subie, but I miss the Evo something fierce! I think once this is paid, I'm buying another Evo.

Wow, all I can say coming from a 2005 STI is bad decision was bad unless the Evo had something wrong with it. The cars aren't even comparable, the Evo outclasses the STI in every way besides the exhaust note IMO. Good luck man but this would be me if I ever had to go back to an STI.

Don't get me wrong, I loved every minute of owning my STI. I beat the crap out of it and it never let me down up until I got rid of it with almost 100k miles on it. But after having the Evo for a year and a half I just can't think of one thing besides the exhaust note I miss.

Don't you cringe every time you have to get into those horrible seats? My buddy has a GR STI and the seats are just terrible and the GD's are even worse IMO... Look up the free seat mod on IWSTI if you haven't already.

Maybe I missed it but anything done to the STI?

Just suspension work and catback. Coilovers, endlinks, sway bars etc. The seats do get uncomfortable at times, but So did the Evo. It didn't bother me that much. I might get other seats later down the line

Good to know it wasn't modded powerwise or I would have been real worried since the EJ can be quite finckey in the wrong hands.

Good luck with it man, I still say you're crazy but to each their own.

I've had days where I wish the Evo was still with me. I just keep in mind that one day I will own another. And it will be glorious! lol

Just curious, what made you decide to switch from the Evolution to the Sti?
