there are sooo many of these threads. search boost leak test

you make the tester, coupler with pvc cap with tire valve mounted on it, plug it onto turbo, fill with air, listen for leaks.

are you saying you are spinning the turbo when doing a boost leak test?

If so, I don't believe the turbo is spinning at all because there is no exhaust gasses.

some people pressurize there boost leak tester to25 psi when doing it when many don't know that may lead to the common failure in the throttle boddy seals if its not held open or the bov doesn't open when doing the test only pressurize it to say 5-7.
