Heyyy
LOL like it states... unless you have a cats whisker for a right foot... dont expect the evo to give you more than 180 miles on a "fun" and full tank of gas... I am almost certain that your truck and evo gas bills will be quite identical given the evo takes 91
welcome and gl with your evo search! i to am a junior in college and finally found my evo last year. i will be paying it off for the foreseeable future but well worth the "therapy". and it all depends on how you drive. i drove home from upset ny the other day to philly, about 230 miles one way. cruised at about 75-80 (no cruise! and about 3500 rpms...cringe) the entire way home. I had a little over a 1/4 tank left. not quite good at math, but thats some pretty darn good mpg! again, gl and welcome!
Idk what kind of driving yall do but I average 22 around town. And I don't drive conservative all the time either. That's fun spirited driving on ver tank and usually some racing on the weekend. I get about 26-28 highway and the WORST I have ever gotten is 19 around town.
But welcome to the forums! GL with finding one and TAKE YOUR TIME because it's so important to find a good one. If not, then you'll be in and out of the shop paying for costly repairs. Maintenance is key to the life of these cars. I would suggest buying a completely stock EVO.
