Forum and Evo newbie!!
First post..woot! Just bought an 03' Evo 8 with about 36k miles on it. I have a few questions about a few things.
Do most of your cars make somewhat of a whine when not really on the throttle? I was driving home the other night within 24 hours of driving the car off the lot, the "Service Engine Soon" light pops on and I get a little worried. Anyways, I Was about a mile away from my house so I parked and brought it down the road to see what code it threw and get all my fluids flushed and refilled. The code was a P0300 = Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected. Could this be a spark plug/wires? They turned it off and it hasn't popped back on again. I haven't driven the car too often as of yet because the car goes into the shop to get inspected Monday.
