Welcome! That sucks you popped your motor, read up on the Evo its a monster and you will love it when you get one.

Refreshing to see a newbie post and not ask a question that has been answered a million times. Make sure that you check out the newbies section and use the search function if you are looking for an answer to a question, more likely than not it has already been answered.

Welcome to the Club. Just make sure you don't go around embarassing us respectable Evo/STi Owners by trying to street Race.

Time slips are the way to go.

If someone asks you if your car is fast. They obviously are: 1, dumb 2, don't know what an Evo is (revert to step 1), 3, ricer street racer (revert to step1) 4, Hilbilly redneck with his daddies pickem up truck that has less torque than an Evo/STi

all in good fun ^

not really sure, never got it dyno'd. it was pretty decent power. was a former track car and with the same setup, a gutted interior, and meth, it ran a low 10. and thats fwd. havent heard of any track times since then. now its off meth, and has full interior. it would spin the tires through 3rd though. up to about 75-80mph.

ya, i dont plan on getting a street racing ticket any time soon. track is more fun to me than the street anyways. always from a dig, no traffic or pedestrians to worry about either. plus i look forward to showing up some domestics who think they're fast with a basically stock evo
