The 06 has a bunch of better features, it really depends on what you are going to use the car for. They are both 5-speed cars correct?

Well if it matters I Just got an 06 se 19k miles for 26g's I would say the 06, they look better, have more power, and better trannys, plus the 06 has HID headlights.

 

True true, but in the end they are still sick as hell.

 

03 has hid head lights, go for the 06 and try to get them down a bit if you can. Its a buyers market.

Not to mention you will get a better finance rate on the 06.

 

both have thier ups and downs...i prefer the 06 lol but it all about what you like

I thought all evo's had HID's except the base 08 X model.

 

Now is the time to buy if your wanting an Evo. People are almost giving them away. That being said, I'd go with the 2006 IX. It is newer for not much more money. However, I highly doubt you'll be disappointed no matter which direction you take. Good luck!
