RPM spike during shifts

I finally got all my mods and got tuned by MELLON. Chris did an excellent job on the tune. I am having a problem though. When I go to shift, let off the gas and push in the clutch, the rpms spike a little bit. It does it especially when I am WOT. I noticed it when I was getting my tune but I didn't really think anything about it. I am noticing it a lot more now. Can anyone shed any light on what my problem may be?

do you have NLTS (no lift to shift) on your rom when you got it tuned? I had that same issue when I had it on my car and it only happened to me when I was WOT because mine was set to only work when i was under a certain load set above 14 psi. It would go up when i shift about 6500 to 6700 and it would taper down if I shift at 6900 to 6700. Other than that I dunno =[ sorry.

looks like you are on a stock clutch, if so then you may be kissing it good bye shortly which may be the problem. i know i did when i got tuned.

clean/adjust your throttle cable and throttle body. you may have carbon build up on your throttle body or a throttle cable binding.

It can be solved by adjusting the ISCV values in the ROM. Search "ISCV Throttle Hang" in the ECUFlash forum and you'll find many maps for fixes. This is very common on the IX.
